This research presents the performance of four grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) systems installed at the Adamawa State College of Health Technology, Mubi, Adamawa, Nigeria. 5kWp each of four different PV technologies. . The solar hybrid mini-grid project, located in Ogun State, Nigeria, was designed to address the chronic power supply challenges faced by this underserved region. With a total photovoltaic (PV) capacity of 1. 2MWp and an AC power output of 1MW, the system is supported by a robust 1. 7MWh ATESS. . However, the International Renewable Energy Agency's (IRENA) “ Renewable Energy Statistics 2024” report indicates Nigeria had only 35 MW of installed solar PV capacity by the end of 2023, compared to South Africa's 3,500 MW. High upfront costs and grid limitations hinder widespread adoption. . In recent years, Nigeria has witnessed a surge in solar energy adoption, from powering homes in off-grid communities to providing reliable electricity for SMEs and even corporate offices. This support enabled us to conduct extensive fieldwork across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones.
